Story Tapestries’ approach to workforce development includes: training that earns early childhood educators required credentials recognized by the Maryland State Department of Education; Caregiver Workshops that give the parents of young children an opportunity to work directly with expert teaching artists to learn new techniques and approaches that support their own wellbeing and economic possibilities; and a Digital Fundamentals course that includes access to equipment and coaching to develop the hard and soft skills needed for today’s increasingly digital workforce.
Digital Solutions that Bridge the Divide addresses the gap in access to tools, resources, and knowledge about the digital skills required to succeed in today’s workforce. A Digital Fundamentals course offers opportunities to audit or receive a certificate for completing at least 10 hours of coursework developing the hard and soft skills required in today’s increasingly digital workforce.
